Amazing.

Id like to "give him 10 games before making a judgement" but I'm 26 and not sure I'll still be around by the time our 'star striker' reaches such an epic landmark.

Does he go down as a Clough good buy

A Clough bad buy,

Or A how the f**k do we know, he's never f***ing played.

I was firmly in the first group, because make no mistake, when he is fit he is good, and can be brilliant, but I fear he is f**ked and will never be a regular, anymore, anywhere, pity.

Well I'm still hoping he will play a part this season, but I do fear the worst. He looked really good in pre season.

It really is beginning to get worrying now. He's had this groin problem for over three months and he's still feeling discomfort. It was suggested in the recent Q&A that his groins may have been exacerbated by him playing when he was less than fully fit at a previous club. As you say he looked sharp in pre-season and he nearly scored when he came on against Forest.

I've seen a lot of people compare him but I don't see it. He seems like a genuinely nice bloke determined to make an impact here but the fact that this injury is still affecting him and causing him some pain suggests that there may well be a bigger problem than initially thought

I have to agree with this as well. I'm sure he's trying to get the fans onside, but in pre-season he had a lot of time for us. Getting his picture taken with fans etc. I just hope he get's well soon and he makes his debut(!) soon

Derby County striker Nathan Tyson says he is "embarrassed" by the injury-hit start to his Rams career.

Tyson, 29, joined in the summer but has been plagued by groin problems and has only made two brief appearances.

But he played the final 10 minutes of Saturday's game against Ipswich and is desperate to make up for lost time.

"It's not just been a nightmare, it's been embarrassing. You join a new club and you want to impress and show what you can do," he told BBC Radio Derby.

"I'm so eager to achieve something here and be a success at this club and to have that taken away for me has been very hard."

The pacy forward's career has been hampered by injury and Tyson hoped his move to Pride Park from fierce rivals Nottingham Forest would be a chance to lose his injury-prone reputation.

But the nine minutes he played against Ipswich and a 25-minute run-out against Forest in September is the only first-team football he has managed for his new team.

"It will be very exciting for me in 2012," Tyson added. "The new year is something I am really looking forward to.

"I've missed being in and around the lads so much. Hopefully in the next few games, I might get a start."

STRIKER Nathan Tyson topped up his match fitness with 65 minutes for Derby County

in a behind-closed-doors game against Burton Albion at Moor Farm yesterday.

Another striker, summer signing Chris Maguire, scored four goals in the 6-0 win against Burton.

Witham and Doyle also scored for Derby.
