I'm off my beer

1 bottle in the last 3 nights, any ideas what it could be?

I've got no obvious symptoms, no rash, spots, headaches, dizziness. My number 1's are a normal golden colour and the number 2's slide out each morning with a healthy brown colour.

Why don't I feel like drinking?

Tell yourself that you are stopping and that you are starting your new years resolutions a month early and you will be wanting a drink in a couple of days, if not, by the weekend. Or it could be your body just clearing its system ready for the xmas and new year drinking and the amount alcohol that you will be drinking.

Also why do people like to get drunk?

I don't think I ever pulled at uni when I was sober, I owe my youth to the humble pint. Once the intial pull was made on the ale, the follow up could be done sober.

fair point silly billy, but surely you don't need beer to "pull" just the confidence that comes with being drunk.

Ofcourse not, I wasn't smashed when I met my wife! It was certainly part of my youth though, I've had one or two sober nights in nightclubs over the years and I really don't see the attraction, I'd have to at least be merry to enjoy it. Few too many, you're bouncing off the walls, singing Chesney Hawkes "I am the one and only" when its not even be played and hitting on anything with a pulse, all whilst having good crack with the lads. Sober, you'd be thinking the music is crap, the girls are out of your league or ugly and its getting late should probably go home.

You don't want to be spending Friday and Saturday nights tucked up with a good novel! The point is, it was good fun. Alcohol played a big part in that fun.

I do 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> not even a novel, a good history book or politics 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I know it does, I have loads of friends who go out drinking and have a great time, speaking for myself i just have never seen the appeal even though I know millions enjoy it and have a great time and that alcohol is a great facilitator of fun for them.

They've probably experienced the walk of shame then.
