Why sack a manager a day after transfer window closes, surely they knew after they played us he wasnt going to be in a job long, why didnt they get rid of him before and get a new manager in sooner ,, nice to see the scum lose as always

The new manager would have expected some money to spend, this way they have 6 months grace.

Billy Davies has said he would be willing to listen if Leeds United wanted to speak to him about their managerial vacancy.

The 47-year-old has refused to rule himself out of the running as the Elland Road side look to replace Simon Grayson, who was sacked last Wednesday.

Davies has been out of management since he was axed by Nottingham Forest last summer following a failed attempt to reach the Premier League in the Championship play-offs.

However, the former Motherwell, Preston North End and Derby County boss insists he is willing to end his stay out of the game should the right opportunity come along.

"I'm prepared to listen to anybody," he said. "I've got no preference - Scotland, England or abroad.

"I'm very happy and very much looking forward to discussing with any interested party. That will be at any level. I don't care what division it is in. I will always give them the courtesy.

"We will wait and see and wait until the right thing comes along and then get back in again."

Although he would be willing to speak to Leeds, Davies is willing to bide his time and wait for the job he feels is right for him.

"I'm very comfortable taking the break at the moment and watching different levels of football," he added.

"I'm getting to England and watching the Premier League and the Championship and I'm getting up here to Scotland to watch Division One and the Scottish Premier League.

"I've had conversations, it hasn't fitted. I'll wait for the right moment, the right club with the right ambition.

"When that comes along, I'll go back into the hairy, scary football management again."

Not always the case? Never the fooking case. We're the only club he managed to get up and he nearly fooked that up by buying a million midfielders in January! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Besides, I wonder if Leeds have forgiven him for 'Job-Done-gate' yet......?

Warnock and Bates spotted talking in Monaco- just when I thought I might get an extended break from Warnocks offensive face, guess not. If ever you needed another reason to hate Leeds, I think you may be in for a treat
