Lake District

Because me and my mates are such crazy Mo'Fo's, we're wanting to go up the Lake District this weekend.

Aside from the whole Vodka/Red Bull, busy club scene around youths these days, I much prefer good ales, premium lagers and nice food.

Anyway, me being boring aside, does anyone know any decent places to visit around the Lake District for a weekend?

If you go and end up anywhere near a place called Pendle, or Pendle Hill to be more specific, keep your eyes peeled as it's the place where women were tried for witchcraft and where creepy happenings and hauntings occur. One evil old trout called Elizabeth Demdyke in particular (owt supposedly supernatural fascinates me).

I'd love to go but not got round to it yet.

Saw the programme "Moist Haunted" from there. I thought it was a ghost programme until they all stripped off. BOOM BOOM!

Oooh, might have a scout round there then. I like stuff like that, if only to see the hoards of people walking about scared witless.

No probs - go just for the hell of it, being scared shitless is a great way to spend an evening, The Vaults in Edinburgh proved that, great fun
