'Sideways move' gives it away really He's happy at Forest, getting first team football now that McLaren is gone.. He'll wait for a promoted club next season to take a gamble on him or someone like QPR or Wolves. Where did your "sideways move" come from? The money that Doughty invested in the club is non-repayable. and as far as McGugan, I don't think he is the correct kind of central midfielder we need, personally. Forest have failed in a bid to bring Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw back to the City Ground in a swap deal. I rate him, he could have a poor game but still win the game with a moment of genius. He's an attacking midfielder who has usually played as one of a central midfield partner ship, pushed up behind a striker he could be lethal. Think we could do a normal negotation and get him for about 1.2million. Big mistake I think for them if they do sell him especially now. This lad could be another Jenas who if hadn't been unfortunate with injuries over the last couple of years would be playing in Europe for Spurs.
