He doesn't hate Derby but he'll never come here..

'Sideways move' gives it away really

He's happy at Forest, getting first team football now that McLaren is gone.. He'll wait for a promoted club next season to take a gamble on him or someone like QPR or Wolves.

Where did your "sideways move" come from?

We're obviously going to sign him

Steve Cotterill is ready to cash in on £1.5million-rated playmaker Lewis McGugan to save Nottingham Forest from relegation.

Forest have failed in a bid to bring Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw back to the City Ground in a swap deal.

Boss Cotterill now accepts 23-year-old McGugan must be sold next month to help fund the search for a genuine goalscorer.

“We are not full of goals – and that is a problem for any team,” admitted Cotterill.

He is young as well and the board once Bywater and Pearson have gone have no reason not to sign him. Think we could do a normal negotation and get him for about 1.2million.

Big mistake I think for them if they do sell him especially now. This lad could be another Jenas who if hadn't been unfortunate with injuries over the last couple of years would be playing in Europe for Spurs.

Lets get him signed as that would for me sort the midfield out
