Cisse
Some eyebrows were raised in Finland when Shefki Kuqi signed with League One side Oldham. People started to question if Shefki was too old to get in the better club. Shefki has told that although he was offered deals elsewhere in Europe he wanted to play in England. He also has made clear he wants to continue his career as a coach after his playing days are over. He has done some courses in coaching over last few years.Kuqi has already discussed about the possibility to do some coaching within Oldham's organisation after he retires from playing. On saturday against Leyton Orient Shefki had an excellent day scoring equaliser on the 65th minute and had two more assists when Oldham beat their opponent with the scoreline 3-1. While Shefki himself is unsure if this is his last season as a player or will he play a year or two more, the season has started on a positive note for him. After four games he has three goals in them and is generally enjoying his time in Oldham. Apparently Oldham made most promising offer with that in mind. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7524-a-good-start-for-shefki/#findComment-205723 Share on other sites
CumbrianRam
Just remeber some angry comments he made towards a jurno on why he rejected a league one club, he said he was too good for that level. Cisse
Just remeber some angry comments he made towards a jurno on why he rejected a league one club, he said he was too good for that level. About a week ago he said that League One is so much worse than Championship that he should score almost in every game. I found that comment pretty arrogant. So far he has been right though.
