westbrom1404
Alright people, West Brom fan in peace. Ok you're probably thinking why an Albion fan is here, but ive just got into Derby University and as a huge general football fan, can any of you guys give me an idea of the prices of the tickets? I cannot wait for University now, and ive kept an eye on your results for the last year or so since i applied. Thanks! EdinburghRam
Cheers buddy so what you think about the start mate? Im delighted with you lot haha! very very good start, the difference between last season and this one is remarkable so far. Guaranteed we would have conceded at both Watford and Blackpool last year. I'm so proud of Nigel and the boys, long may it continue. On the ticket prices, I believe they are pretty expensive. My season ticket is quite cheap but for individual tickets I think we're one of the worst. StaffsRam
Well there seems to be two camps of thought so far; 1. Delighted that we won, not overly concerned by the performances 2. Concerned by the performances, but happy that we got the results, but don't think we'll keep it up I think I'm in a place where I think it would be nice to have great attacking performances and wins, but ultimately I'll settle for grinding out wins for now. So far, so good. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197497 Share on other sites
England Ram
I'm in the - Glad we have the points on the board and are harder to beat, but hoping with this comes more confidence to start playing better, camp. However, what you will learn if you spend any time on this board either lurking or posting 500 a day, that we are so opinionated and diverse that it is like sitting the pub with the most random people all agreeing and disagreeing in the same breath:-) Good fun though, and some are always good for a laugh, particually when some get too serious in the virtual world. westbrom1404
Its always good winning games when you're not playing well though, you do seem to be looking good, your best player? And what stand has the most atmosphere generally? Buzzing after this morning hahaha Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197505 Share on other sites
StaffsRam
best player? Could be one of a few as Shackell, O'Brien and Steve Davies have all started well. For me, it's Shackell - exactly what our defence has needed for the last few years, and has helped instill an air of confidence in the defence that hasn't been seen in some time. And what stand has the most atmosphere generally? Buzzing after this morning hahaha Guess you'd be looking at the South-East corner. Just don't make the mistake of going in the west stand. Seems to be a disproportionate amount of whinging old buggers in there. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197506 Share on other sites

Ah right, Davies was the one who scored against Watford, i loved your fans reaction when he scored that, i go to a few away games with the Albion as well Ahh ok hahaha, yeah i sit with a bunch of idiots at the Albion as well :/ Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197508 Share on other sites

Not even England games in the WC come close. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197518 Share on other sites

StaffsRam
We deserved to win. If Stephen Pearson scores we can't lose as it's such a 'once in a lifetime' occurance! Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197523 Share on other sites

Phillips hitting the bar, few other chances, we should have won it. Do you regret going up though, due to the disaster that followed? As you beat us, it was funny at the time, but we did feel sorry for you lot as well :/ Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7274-hey-guys/#findComment-197524 Share on other sites
StaffsRam
Not sure. On the surface of it, you'd say so, but on the other hand we made a hell of a lot of money out of that season, which helped reduce our debts down. But for poor judgement in the January transfer window it might have been even more beneficial for us. GboroRam
Do you regret going up though, due to the disaster that followed? Not for a minute. A **** season in the prem is better than an average season in the Championship.
