Subman
As an aside, who plays LB for the reserves and are they not capable of provide back up? With them being champions again surely he must be steadyish? Then again, Roberts is supposed to be "solid" so who knows:whistle: Well amongst others we had Callam Ball, Ben Pringle and Arron Cole play there. RamNut
surely the idea should be to buy a better left back than the one we've got..... nigel seems to have a tendency to buy reserves / squad fodder.... but then brings in loanees anyway when we have injuries? deeney, buxton, anderson, doyle, martin, pringle, hendrie, robinson, ben davies,

Just sayin'

GeneralRam
Its obvious that Roberts uis going to be #1 LB for this season. He really didn't do too bad towards the end of last season. I wonder if his name was something foreign like Fabio Cavienzzi, people would have took to him better....

Gary Teale
Im going for Roberts to finish as player of the year after a steady eddy season. Didnt last time clough went for a young hungry left back he got rid but I guess he didnt do bad upfront

Just sayin' I'd be happy with a youngster like this. Sounds like Roberts finished the season ok and looks like Nigel will go with him as #1 this season. No point paying an established LB loads to sit on the bench. Would be good to get a hungry up and coming player to keep Roberts on his toes. Like you say as well, there are some gems in the lower leagues...mentioning no names (Brayford! )
