Boz_DCFC
I for one could not give 2 hoots (is that owl related?) about what a footballer has done in his private life. As long as there has been no crime committed I find it ludicrous that so many people seem to have an interest. It says it all when our Prime minister feels it is necessary to bring it up in parliament- it is a farce and frankly very boring . Ryan Giggs= Footballing Legend (he may have been a naughty boy but it really is none of our business). Exactly right. Let them do as they please as long as it's not criminal etc.
Srg
I think it's more the fact that he is billed as an icon, someone for kids to look up to, a model football... when the whole time, he is not.
p.shilton
I don't think he was billing himself as anything other than a great footballer, and by the look at it a great performer in the sack also! I reckon he might have a lot more young lads looking up to him now.....
Perky1106
I don't think they'd have stopped at the Imogen story if he'd let them go ahead, they would have pressed on for more anyway. You're probably right but I think if he had opted to not use the injunctions, let the press release the Imogen story and made a quick, sincere apology to the public, then maybe, just maybe, the press would have been a tiny bit more forgiving.
