I agree, I'd like to see him go on loan to a League One club and have a full season playing week in, week out. Get him back next summer and assess him then. With regular games I think he could be worth keeping for the future, but as you say, it wouldn't be a major loss if he did went as lower Championship/ top League One is his level in my opinion.
