Well I've been informed that the club are actively trying to ship by water out, if they can't sell him, they are not afraid to pay his wages up. As he is no longer wanted back at pride park.

So this could be true, but it depends weather burton accept the offer and hes interested in sharing the number 1 spot with frank

^^ Maybe, maybe not.

I'd imagine that we'll get rid of Bywater, and send out Atkins and Severn on loan for the season if possible. With Deeney still at the club as the third keeper then we won't need to recall either of them.

Can see Atkins on loan as part of the deal. Maybe even Deeney

I would not be surprised if Atkins was being offered to Burton as part of this deal. Deeney seems to be still out on crutches and the club don't want to go messing around with loaning five keepers in the next campaign. Clough knows the ins and outs of whats going on at Burton and no doubt his connections with the club are still stong. A fair few of our Academy Under 16's are handed on to Burton if they don't get offers to join our scholarship program. Clough signed Buxton and Deeney from there, both stop gap signings when money was much tighter. Seems like there have been other championship clubs interested in Legzdins.

He has more experience than Atkins under his belt now having completed a full season. He is taller than Bywater, Deeney, Fielding, Atkins and Severn at 6 ft 4, and won player of the year for the Brewers. He could end up being a Latvian international with the higher profile he would get through a move tothe championship.

Legzdins is alright. Not as good as FF, but certainly better than Deeney IMO. We often go to watch Burton if Derby are away. Can't really remember any howlers, or any bad performances in general to be honest.

Dependent on how much we'll be paying for him, could be a decent backup signing.

Meanwhile, Derby are believed to be closing in on Burton Albion goalkeeper and player of the year Adam Legzdins.

Glick said: "If there is a good, young, talented player that we can add, we will do it – and the goalkeeping position is one we continue to be open on. So, yes, we might do something there."

Bywater, Fielding, Severn, Atkins, Deeney.

Bywater's off most-likely, meaning 4.

Atkins/Severn out on loan, meaning 2.

Deeney's always injured, meaning 1.

Get him in.

We'd for once actually have a keeper and decent backup. Last time we had that was with Bywater and Carroll... Ugh... Carroll...

My mum sold him his house.....was just outside of Newark. Million pound mark....remember the commision coming through very well.
