ScouseRam
Just watched the highlights from Saturday on the BBC footie website. Is it me or are we ALWAYS last up on the show? I understood that when we were in the prem, but there are worse teams/fixtures than what we have had in the last few weeks. I am thinking about making a complaint to the BBC. :frown:

And manish and claridge always seem to make leicester seem more than a rival to us than forest
Duracell
We're last on the show because normally we're one of the least interesting games. Even when we lose, we don't get thrashed. We've had a very uneventful season. They're not going to go "Watch the football league show tonight, as we watch a Kris-Commons-less Derby County side try and get a shot on target against Bristol City, in a match that means abolsutely nothing to either side". Sometimes, the last game on the FL show is also a talking point when they return back to the studio, so it's not always a bad thing. I remember our 5-0 win v Palace was last, and when they returned to the studio, they talked about us first for a good 1 minute.
StaffsRam
To be fair, for a lot of this season I wish they wouldn't show us at all.
jagerbob
To be fair to them, the football league show is fairly consistant with how it generally goes down the league table and features the qpr, then norwich, and cardiff etc whoever they are playing. Only really the last week or two have them jumped from the play off teams games to the bottom 3's games. it just so happened that on saturday we were well down the league, but not so low that we were in the bottom 3, and bristol city are bottom half too. There werent many games on saturday which didnt feature a promotion or play off hopeful, or a relegation threatned team. Ours was such a game. We certainly werent put on last when we lost last week to norwich, given that it put them back into the automatic promotion spots! The show also largely has their main game pre-chosen, I dont know how far ahead though. Wheres MoTD can send commentators to every game and adjust their schedule accordingly, the football league show doesnt have half the budget or as many people working on it. The main game they show is the same match which is sold off as a live game to other networks around the world. Derby vs Swansea was such a game, (yes, we were shown first! shock horror) i was able to watch it live on the internet through an american broadcasting network, even the commatator on the feed, was the same one on the championship program. WilkoRam
The be fair the show is rubbish and I wouldn't waste my time watching it at all. Ooo look we're in touch with real fans because we read out texts and emails and we're in a studio that's been made to look basic.
Duracell
Manish and his table that's there but isn't really there is well worth staying up for though. Used to tear my hair out over it but now I just see the funny side.
WilkoRam
The 'let me just read this point off the paper in front me, ruining any attempt to sound like I know or care about what I'm saying' is annoying as well. I've said it before but a red button option where you select which league you want and the program is all about that league with presenters who are focused on that one league. Would massively improve things. That and cutting out the emails and texts.
RotherhamRam
Manish and his table that's there but isn't really there is well worth staying up for though. Used to tear my hair out over it but now I just see the funny side. I tape it watch it in the morning fast forward to our 5 second clip then see where our error led to a goal(s). Like Jones and Roberts gaffs on Saturday. Or wonder goals in recent weeks like Ward v Palace and Ward v Leeds followed by Ben Davies v Leeds. But that is about it
Alpha
It's Leeds I feel sorry for. They never get on tv. The media love affair with that scum club never stops angering me. Itv are worse than BBC. Manish only seems to know anything when it comes to leceister
blackNwhites
Knowing the full highlights are on Rams player or the BBC website, it doesn't bother me so much that we're often last. Surprisingly, when we have had the detailed slots, we've done rather well. I also like the show, because it helps with learning who plays for who in our league and the lower leagues. Not that i remember it much. It did highlight that Le Fondre would probably not be good enough for this league though.

ace-arun
Well with the football League show they usually show the team which has been on bbc or sky sports first or if the team has been shown in a different country on al jazeera or fox soccer. Also that match will have the longest length of highlights.
alexxxxx
they need to put more than one camera at each match. looks unprofessional. every italian serie b game is on TV, every german bundesliga 2. game is on TV. every spanish 2nd league is on too! i don't want that i just want more than one camera angle! trekkie_ram
Like others, I tape (does anyone still have tapes, when I say tape I mean Sky+) the show as it is on after my bed time, and rarely watch anything other than our game. We are on last because we weren't near the top, and never truly in relegation danger.

Those leagues all have 20 teams or less in those leagues. How expensive would it be to do that? We're talking 24 cameras for 46 x 46 games - that's freakin expensive! dcfcdavecov
Easy solution. Get rid of the worst 6 teams in our league. League of 18, more time for each highlights, and less costs. Oh hang on :D:D
