Albert
Being deducted points? Foxsports (Australia) are claiming they are set to be deducted some 15 points over the signings of Alejandro Faurlin. QPR to be stripped of Promotion Where on earth did this come from? They'd be barely clinging to the playoffs with that kind of deduction!
Fullspizz
This rumour has been knocking about for a few months now. I would have thought that if any sanctions in the way of a points deduction was coming, then it would have been communicated by now. I think they will get a hefty fine. StaffsRam
The fact that there won't be a ruling until just before the final game of the season suggests that they're waiting to see how many points they can dock QPR without it affecting promotion. Taking enough points to deny them promotion will no doubt result in legal challenges that would more than likely spill into next season, which will leave teams not knowing what division they're supposed to be playing in. QPR will get a 'symbolic' punishment.

The FA set a precedent by not deducting points from West Ham and would make themselves look even more foolish by giving a new punishment to QPR. A multi million pound cheque should see that no points are deducted as it did in the West Ham case.

The FA set a precedent by not deducting points from West Ham and would make themselves look even more foolish by giving a new punishment to QPR. A multi million pound cheque should see that no points are deducted as it did in the West Ham case. There is a key difference between thus and West Ham, as reported by the Sun today. West Ham didn't break any third party ownership rules with Tevez because non existed back then. They were charged with withholding information from the FA. After that the third party rules were drawn up and QPR have broken them AND witheld information from the FA ( I think it might actually be that they gave false information to the FA) when they signed him and subsequently when they renewed his contract. West Ham is no precedent as it is a different offence that QPR have committed.
uttoxram75
Its irrelevant. Like staffie says, QPR have the financial clout to take the FA to court and make next season impossible to plan. They'll go up.
Alpha
Make 'em start on -10 points next season. We can have a few months hoping they break our awful record. :frown:

Duracell
Love the irony of this. Remember that guy who used to manage Sheffield United who was clamering for a harsh punishment for West Ham United because Tevez relegated them with that goal at OT? Wouldn't it be hilarious if that was the same bloke that manages QPR now. Bet he'd be quiet then.

RAM1966
I remember West Spam getting a £5M fine, this was disputed by the blunts who ended up with compensation after it went to the high court. The FA are a bunch of C***s who do what they like with no level playing field. Paying Pompy monies due to them early is a prime example, because they were EPL. They are a law unto themselves in regard of punishments. IMO there should be a standard table of punishments that fit crimes. The FA needs to be professionalised as there is so much money in football these days. No doubt whatever the decsion there will be a public outcry as it has been left to linger and a decision will only be made after the season ends! I personally thing they will deduct enough point to place QPR in the playoffs!
Cisse
They should deduct enough points so that Q.P.R. can eliminate Forest in play offs. Would make end of the season a bit better to see Forest get so close and then crash and burn.

Cardiff or Norwich in the SFs and then likely Reading in the final. Can't see them beating any of them to be honest.
