Last season I pulled a fetlock jumping over the advert hoardings:frown:

Tried running it off, but had to leave the pitch.

I'm too fat this year I'm afraid. Maybe if I get a good pre-season under my belt I'll be good for next seasons survival celebration.

I hope we don't, pitch invasions should be saved for special occasions, it's ridiculous when we invade it for the sake of it.

When we did it in 2007 play off semi finals it was special, it won't be for much longer.

Agreed 100%.

I don't feel a desperate need to run 50 yards to 'touch' Gareth Roberts.

No problem with invading the pitch - I would if I weren't in the upper tier but why do half the people insist on lining up in front of the away fans? That's what's embarassing about it. If they actually ran into the away end from the pitch then fair enough - idiotic, but at least they didn't just stand there pretending to be hard embarassing themselves.

It looks even more rediculous when they are being "held back" by a piece of string and 4 scrawny stewards.

At least it creates a bit of excitement in the last 10 minutes as the SE move into position I suppose.

Surely it is irresponsible to run on the pitch, it will rough it up for the Monster Trucks on May 28th.

made me laugh. That truck day might be paying for our transfer budget next season so best behaviour from the young hooligans please

Yeah I agree a pitch invasion should be about a celebration of something good...it's now becoming normal at derby and I think the next time we do win something a pitch invasion will never be a memorable moment.

Also I think Saturday we should show some respect for Robbie savage and his last home game ... He said on twitter tonight he would love to celebrate like forest away with the waving scarfs with the fans but if the small minded few run onto the pitch he won't get chance and we wont get chance to wish him farewell.

Finally to whom ever said it was to stop the players coming out and thanking the fans, what is wrong with the fans finally getting some thanks for the continued great support?

I'm sorry but this modern idea of running onto the pitch on the final day is now boring and the lap of honour always use to be something to look forward to on final day, especially for the kids.
