caymanram
Ideas regarding the dropping of Ben for Theo ? Seemed a strange one to me although I guess in some ways it paid off seeing as we got a point. Wasn't able to see the game so am curious as to how he did. With Sav doing a man-to-man job I would have thought that a straight midfielder was a better bet than a forward. Anyone able and willing to enlighten me ? Said before the game Ben Davies tweaked his groin hence on the bench or would have been starting. Due to injuries at present not a lot of options and that was obvious when you consider the only substitutions to come on was Anderson and Leacock to ensure the point in last 10 mins (including injury time). Nothing sinister just another injury unfortunately.
MrsRam
Nigel said Ben picked up an injury in training - groin strain I think.

Also the game plan was to negate the midfield and we overloaded 5 v 4 and stifled them, Taraat was not in the game and substitued twice against us this season due to Sav. Robinson brought in I should imagine as he has pace on the wing and was to be used to spread their midfield with the ball. Just wish he had the same vision as ward in respect of his first half shot because if he had tucked in a pass to Davies it would have been a goal.
