I don't think we were actually that loud - certainly Sheffield United was louder (of course there were about 2,500 more people there), but it was just good craic and banter today. I think generally the regular 200/300 who stand at the back at the **** aways where we take no fans like Preston, Burnley etc, and other mid week games give a good account of themselves every game, but yes, good times today despite the result.

To be fair, Bridgend, you have a very new ground. It always takes a while to settle in. It's well stacked-up there though so it has potential.

The atmosphere at Pride Park has been far better this season due to our fans getting serious and more organised about improving noise levels. Considering we've had falling attendances and a poor home form, I'm pleased for once with Pride Park's atmosphere and if the players can get their act together we might have a fortress again!

I expect the CSS to be gets its atmosphere within the next 5 seasons or so, you're a big enough club for that to happen, so don't worry. But it might be an idea to look at what we've done as an example and get something organised? For example, we've got a group of fans planted in the family stand to try and stir up an atmosphere and it's really beginning to make a difference.

I have noticed that when beyond the point of no return the Derby faithful are brilliant, when we don't expect to get anything that's when we're at our best, I must say the experience of being in the Premiership and getting f*cked every week by every man and his dog that came to pride park (bar Newcastle) the fans were outstanding.

The 6-1 hammering against Villa at home was exceptional from a fans point of view, also the 'let's pretend we scored a goal' chant was born!

I don't like this how we're getting pity from othersides, I hope all this can change next season, well I am willing to invest in the supposed change!

I find it quite sad to read Cardiff fans praising our supporters for singing and dancing around while watching our team getting hammered. Not so much because of the singing etc, but because they are universally commenting on how sh*te the team was.

It sickens me that fans of clubs like Cardiff are in a position to do this. Just goes to show how far we have fallen. :frown:
