What Robbie wants vs. what the fans want

Robbie may be "happy" with that and not being the relegation skipper, but the fans certainly won't be. We want to see all the players fight their hearts out to get as far up the league as possible, game by game - not simply scrape (or is that scrap) their way to safety and then ease off ....

Starting today against Swansea

I think Sav is (for once) giving a completely honest assessment of the situation - he knows that our confidence is shot and that the chances of us scraping the necessary number of points is looking more and more remote - he's not suggesting that they should scrap their way to safety and then ease off, he's saying that 4th bottom is better than 3rd bottom (or worse) - this group of players simply don't have the experience/character/confidence to aim higher than that - we'd all love to see a mighty battle to get as high up the league as possible - look at the fixtures to come and the way we've played since christmas and do you honestly think we can do much better then 4th bottom?

I dont particularly want us to stay up. I want the board out and I want Clough out. This will only happen if we get relegated.

I would take that.

The team we have is not Championship quality (prob not even League 1 quality), it would only be more of the same next season if we stayed up.

Clough says he only wants 6 championship standard players. Well if that happened we would only have half a decent side (barring any injuries).

So in his ideal team, we would only be mid table mediocrity. The clown is out of his depth.

Not forgetting that he would most probably play all 6 out of position, slag them off afterwards, saying that from the start of the 2nd half they should be hoofing the ball towards the corner flags.

League 1 here we come.

Don't wish League 1 on us, it's a hell hole of a league.

I hate "fans" like you.

would have never guessed that from your previous posts.

Don't know mate. Its difficult on forums. When you're in a pub taliking footie you can tell if someones straight or not. On here you come over as a wum to me, like I said yesterday, if I'm wrong I apologise.

You can feel the hurt in proper Derby fans when they moan about their club. Whether I agree with them or not I don't deliberately give them grief, you can tell when its a heartfelt moan.

I just don't get that from you.

Yes heres another what was one of Reg Matthews traits and who wore a bandage on his head against the Geordies for most of the game in one of the 2 Championship title winning seasons.

Here's one for you. Who's on a Derby County forum desperately trying to prove that he is a Derby County fan despite the fact that I think majority on here know he wouldn't be on here if he wasn't. ;)

It was horrible that day and then we got Tommy Docherty

He always looked older than Ken Oxford, and Ken Oxford always looked older than him. You've got me on the second one.Substitute first answer-he could never tell the difference between Alex Dawson's head and a football.

Reg always leaned on the goal post when the ball was at the other end and Roy Mac played with a head bandage for nearly all the game but im not sure if it was Newcastle or Liverpool as im doing this all from memory:redface:

He wasn't doing anything was he? Seriously,I thought you were going to say he always gave a wave to the boys' pen.

I can picture Mac with the bandage, but can't help with the game.
