Curtains
Hull will check on the fitness of goalkeeper Vito Mannone ahead of the visit of Burnley to the KC Stadium in the npower Championship. The on-loan Arsenal stopper kept a clean sheet on his return to the side in the vital 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday. But he aggravated a thigh injury - which sidelined him previously - during the game and is a doubt for the visit of the Clarets, who are one place and one point ahead of the Tigers. Should Mannone be ruled out, the Tigers only have youngster Mark Oxley to call on with Matt Duke joining Derby on loan last week, although he could be recalled by manager Nigel Pearson. New loan signing David Amoo made his debut as a second-half substitute at Forest and will now be pushing for a start. uttoxram75
I presumed you started this thead to ridicule Nigel Clough about the teams goalkeeping options and to generally take the piss out of the football team I love. If I'm wrong and you wanted to indulge in serious debate then I apologise. If I'm right then go and **** yersen. davenportram
Would that then count as exceptional circumstances with our other first team goalkeeper injured? Would we just recall Bywater?
