Swansea Protest

For all the boards failings interms of lack of investment, the management team are more at fault for our current predicament. I am not convinced that with money to spend Clough would actually know how to buy quality players.

I'd be more in favour of protesting as to why Clough and his merry men are still in charge.

Clough has made so many mistakes, if it was any other club it would be laughable.

To name just one, as one poster put, Clough was under no pressure to sell Hulse and Moxey. He decided it would be best to sell them and then fail to replace them.

We need to get behind the team during the game, leave protest till after the game.

I tend to agree, but I don't see how any players' confidence will have their confidence knocked by "sack the board" being chanted. I doubt the players pay that much attention to the lyrics...

A protest will hurt the team more than anything.

Not a great idea for any team !

Completely agree. It's not going to help the team. It's clear that the shambolic display we've had this season isn't going to get Nigel or GSE packing.

The only way we're going to learn that this can't continue is when we are relegated.

At the moment it looks like we're in a situation where relegation will be beneficial to us otherwise the next season under this regime is just going to be a repeat of the last two, NPC mediocrity.

The players and staff know they aren't good enough so protesting, booing and chanting will just make the bad vibe even worse.

you can protest all you want ,, the board dont mind as your paying for a ticket to get in the ground , heck they might even think of a promotion , "get your to pay for a ticket and he can come and sing too". you have to protest before and after the game but again why throw all your negative energy at the board when there is a dugout full of people who need to leave aswell (except Gordon Guthrie)

"Sell the club" rather than "sack the board" may be more appropriate. I bet our investment managers are falling about laughing when they hear the sack the board chants by certain fans.

Not a good idea to protest during the game and staying away from the ground would have far more impact than the lynch mob gathered outside the main entrance after home matches.

I would like Gadsby and Glick to go head to head though in a "oh yes I did, oh no you didn't" debate regarding the bid allegedly placed for the club.

just a suggestion... But if the anti board and clough chants are going to be sung, maybe sing it before, during and after.. Rather than just when we go a goal down? Seems as though if we win we think they are good, lose then they are bad. Make your minds up :D

Ah alas if I win the euromillions this Friday I'll wipe the stadium mortgage clean clough out hughton in and give him 15-20 mill to spend on players that man knows quality! ( unlucky to get the sack from Newcastle )

Might as well buy a ticket as well. Except I'd promise Hughton £10,000,000 to get us out of the NPC then £40,000,000 to guarantee Premiership survival. :)
