looking to tuesday with a sore head

i not know about everybody else, but my heads still splitting, and it's hurting even more thinking about who we are playing across the back on tuesday. if roberts dosnt recover and we don't get anyone in on loan, who do you play?

i'd actually like to see pringle have a go at left back. well lets be honest if greeny can play rb! he can put a cross in and he seems to be able to make a tackle. put brayford back on the right with ayala and barker in the middle. happy days.

suggestions please people

If you have an opposition striker pulling away to the far post for a header, who do you want challenging him, Green or Pringle?

I'm a big believer in not changing a winning team.

I know a few players are out of position but changing a winning team can harm confidence...i think we are a good example of that.

I think we should play Robinson and Ward up top and Cywka and Davies wide. We have two work horses in the middle of midfield and would like to see us postive at home and play with no fear now we have that win sat under our belts. I think the manager will keep it narrow in midfield though and making sure its tight.

I'd just like to see some sort of attacking intent at home, a bit of creativity back in midfield. I think the defence did ok, would like Brayford back at RB but I think the bigger issue is the midfield. It's basic and offers little going forward. Cywka, Davies or Bueno in there with Ward and Robinson up top and try playing the ball into space - that does not equate to lumping it forward.

i hear ya wilko. If we go for ward and theo up front then we need players in the midfield that can play it across the floor. For home games though id love see us play 1 holding midfielder with a row of 3 with 2 up front. Addison, davies, beuno, cywka with ward and theo upfront. With two small players up front we need someone like beuno findin them killer passes.

Saturday was probably the most significant defensive performance of the season. Any particular reason you'd change it?

I'd like to see a more attacking formation like 4-1-3-2 or 4-3-3 but just read on the official site that Ward will come back in to play out wide because Porter and Robinson linked up well?!

I reckon therefore he'll go for;

Fielding

Green. Ayala. Barker. Brayford

Ward. Addison. Savage. Pearson (if fit)

Robinson. Porter.

If Roberts is fit, Green into middle with Addison and Brayford to right back to give Savage a rest?! Not really what I would do but what I think Cloughy will do?!!!

Yeah I read that, not sure about starting Ward out wide so that Porter can keep his place. But I guess Porter is seen as a target man for the long balls pumped forward. More playing people out of position in order to stick with 4-4-2.

-----------Fielding

Brayford, Barker, Ayala, Roberts (if fit)

--------Addison

------Bailey (if fit) Green

--Ward---------Cywka

--------Robinson

If no Bailey or Roberts

-----------Fielding

Brayford, Barker, Ayala, Pringle

--------Addison

------B Davies Green

--Ward---------Cywka

--------Robinson

Addison is a great ball winner but he needs players in front of him who can pass. It's a shame Bailey is out as he's the best at it at the club but we have others who can take the ball off him. Addisons job should be simple, get that ball back and play a simple ball to someone near you, do not lose that ball you've just worked to win back by humping it forward.

Good passers in front and then creativity and a striker in front of them in order to unlock the defence.
