DerbyBoy7
******* brilliant Derby fans were today! EVERYONE stood up and it seemed everyone sung for most of the game! Thats what is needed and today the fans were brilliant! wish we stood up every game and made that noise but no one can have any complaints about the fans after that performance in the terrace Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/5744-fans-were-top-today/ Share on other sites

Hope you also now understand what we are trying to achieve in the North Stand Block A. Its one thing doing it away from home but YOU HAVE to do it on your own patch week in week out... Boycie
Erm to be fair, it wasn't just the Barmy Army who were singing. I assume that the Barmy were to the left of the goal and under the over hang? I saw a few scarfs being twirled. davenportram
Good atmosphere, a shame that on occasion there seemed to be two factions of singing different songs. I have said it, and will say it again, at away games everyone is just Derby, we dont class ourselves as the organ grinders so to speak.... Yes mainly under the cover with a few scarfs, very cramped though and a few scattered all over the shop tbh. NottsRam77
the support was excellent and i think as the pressure grew from the blades so did our noise i do agree though with a post above it did seem a little disjointed at times. there seemed pockets singing different songs at the same time. who care though, the noise was great, the atmosphere was great and we got the 3 points. therams69
Good atmosphere, a shame that on occasion there seemed to be two factions of singing different songs. Can tell you excactly why that is Davo...... Our lot like to do a few songs quite slow and we were singing "Everywhere we go....." Unfortunately the left section got a bit quick so it never really kept going as such as sounded like two different songs on the go.... The problem we have, mainly down to the East Stand fans ( AND NO THIS IS NOT SLAGGING THEM OFF) In caps lock just to stress!! Is that the East Stand like to clap alot rather than actually sing and make noise that way, by clapping you not only speed a sing up but also ruin it. Another example of this was at Scunny last week when doing Dale Cavese, the guys that do it in the North Stand Block A know to bounce on the second version and not clap where as at Scunny it kind of got ruined by the clapping.... Probably doesnt make sense to alot of people but clapping can sometimes ruin certain songs like Dale Cavese or the We love you song, your not supposed to always clap.... Either way, great support today and please nobody treat this as a slagging off post as its not, just an obversation that I expertise in so to speak!!! Plan B
I was in the VIP towards their kop end and to be honest you could barely hear the Derby fans. Were better then the Sheff utd though. Don't think its fair on the sheff utd fans and their backroom lot, they are all kind people and they couldn't praise they Derby fans and squad enough. They hate Savage though lol. There is a player who plays for Wigan called Boyce and I had to look twice I thought it said Boycie lol. ladyram
Well done chaps and chapesses!! Had a great time today, brill atmosphere. We were sat to the right side of goal and loved every minute. Enjoyed winding up the blades fans sat to our right. Think it's safe to say they were a tad pissed off. Shame.
