Going Down?

Im not a doom and gloom merchant but that result leaves us 19th, 5 Points ahead of scunny who have a game in hand! Our last win was new years Day and we have 6 points from a possible 27 in 2011.

Unless something changes quickly we could be for the drop!

Where did it all go wrong?

If Scunny carry on improving then it's almost definite. At the moment Shef Utd look as bad as us and Preston have got a lot of ground to make up. All the other candidates have got something going for them, we're not winning home or away and have got an almost fully fit squad to pick from. Massive game saturday.

Ravanelli.

We have struggled financially ever since his short sighted introduction.

How did you work that out, our current injured or crocked list runs into double figures and we have one of the most threadbare squads in the division anyway.

Currently out injured

Bywater (yesterday)

Deeney

Roberts (Yesterday)

Anderson

Buxton

Leacock

Bailey

Green (Yesterday)

Martin

Porter (can he walk?)

Ryan Connolly (out for the season, young pro)

Back to the topic, we are in the mire

We can turn the corner and stay up but it will be between

us, Palace, Boro, Ssausagehorpe and the Blades and possibly any of Pompey, Coventry and Donny who finish in the 2nd and 3rd from bottom positions. Preston have too much ground to make up.

Why does anyone think that the next 14 games will be any different to the last 14. We have taken 6 points from the last 14 games, if that continues we will finish the season on 42 points which will see us comfortably relegated!!

Got to agree. I don't understand where the optimism is particularly regarding the predictions of each next game. The hope is that the untried new loanees will magically produce performances that turn the team into match winners

Talk about twisting things. Double figures? During the bad run have we had double figures out? Plus Porter isn't injured and you've included Connolly who wouldn't get near the first team anyway and Martin who was on loan! Then include the players who got injured yesterday, they weren't injured for the other games.

gutted, roberts now out so we dont have a left back, goes to show the thinking thats running this club. bywater out? maybe a good thing cause hes lost the plot. all the players mentioned that are injured other then bailey i wouldnt put in my starting 11 . Hulls manager said he was happy with his young tigers, so funny how his are good but ours are bad? Nigel should just go. No one survives with his manager record! Hes a red dog! he never played for derby! people need to think about this! he isnt brian, the great man died years ago and shouldnt feel there is a hold over nigel cause who his dad is. Course brian would be disapointed but somethings are ment to be and this clearly isnt one of them.

When we are playing Palace, Coventry, Blades, Doncaster, and Bristol before the end if the season we are relying on ourselves to beat those trams. 3 of them at home, should have enough to beat them.

You would've thought that a few months ago but at the moment I can't see us beating anybody. Oh well, with Brighton looking like coming up at least we'll be able to brag about having the best ground in League 1...

And another thing while im on ere, people need to sod off with this "4th" dream! when clough came here we battered blackpool and had a decent TWO MONTH SPELL, then hulse saved us. Last season we had a poor season then we had a TWO MONTH spell around this time when we beat forest newcastle and lesta and Husle saved us. This season we had a very early TWO MONTH SPELL and went 4th when everyone was slow getting going. Now we have a vert weak team, crap loans and i think frank fielding will struggle in this derby team. so everyone who believed the hype it was allways going to go belly up why? cause clough isnt a consitant manager, just a consitant moaner.

It will be intresting to see what impact Fielding will have as some on here seem to think he made a massive difference some dont think there is that much between Bywater and Fielding. Im dont think there was that much difference as we still let loads of goals in on our good run as we wwere scoring goals.
