Boycie
The Thought of Jamie Ward and Paul Hayes doesnt exactly excite me BUT im actually quite happy with this signing , lets hope he can score for us rather than against us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaG00c_qQYI Cor! I was waiting to see him score! All I heard was out of tune Barmy!
Boycie
He is a product of Watford's youth academy so RD reporting that he can't settle in London is complete pap! He wouldn't have lived there as a youth, he parents would have took him down for training etc I would think.
Derbiean
Apparently (according to RD) he's struggled to settle in London (bit of a culture shock after Huddersfield I should think....) Millwall is a culture shock for anyone:D Sounds like a good prospect

thelovebelow
View to perm move according to sky sports. Sky sports Derby County have snapped up striker Theo Robinson from Championship rivals Millwall on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. Robinson only joined Millwall on a permanent basis in January after spending three months on loan at The Den from Huddersfield Town. However, the 22-year-old has struggled to settle in the capital and the Midlands-born forward has been allowed to link up with Derby. Rams boss Nigel Clough has been anxious to improve his attacking options and is happy to have added Robinson to last week's capture of Jamie Ward from Sheffield United. Raw pace "I said after Saturday's game at Ssausagehorpe it was nice to have the option to have two strikers starting the game and two more on the bench, so bringing Theo in enhances our options even further," Clough told the club's official website. "Theo is another forward with raw pace and we've found out to our cost what he is capable of in front of goal this season. "Like Jamie Ward; he is someone we've monitored for some time because he has scored goals wherever he has been." Robinson, who scored in Millwall's 2-0 win over Derby in October, will go straight into Clough's squad for Tuesday's game at home to Hull City. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_6771976,00.html? Stimacked
Lions fans on the BBC blog seem a bit surprized and dissapointed and he seems to have one thing in abundance, loads of pace. One poster claiming he had been training at Derby since yesterday, which explains the snaps in the training shirt so quick. Another poster suggested it was likely to become permanent in the summer if he does well. Good luck Theo. Come On You Rams. Interesting idea to bring in Hayes as well, three players competing for Porters soon to be vacated spot in attack.
Boycie
Wasn't Hayes the folly to Hoopers pace? Not sure if "folly" is the right word. Expect to be picked up on it in a minute.
David
Also suggests we haven't got much faith in Steve Davies ability to stay fit next season if we are looking to add Hayes, Ward and Robinson. Also means the summer will be quite boring as we already know who's coming in.
Boycie
Invest before season ticket renewal? And them fans still not happy? Well I never?
GboroRam
I for one am disappointed and disgusted in this signing. What is Clough thinking of? I mean, come on - we've got fans interested, impressed and hopeful. What is the man thinking? There we are, all waiting for a shocking signing that we can all get behind and boo, and he goes and signs someone with potential. I'm not impressed with this new found plan of signing players who can play. Clough out.
Stive Pesley
Anyone else get the impression that watching our defeats back on DVD on a Monday morning is doubling up as scouting? Suppose it's one way to save money..
David
We've got...... 1) Young 22 player 2) His surname Robinson 3) Vicky-27 (Mrs Robinson) I'm sure you can come up with something with those ingrediants Boycie
Belper Bear
Wasn't Hayes the folly to Hoopers pace? Not sure if "folly" is the right word. Expect to be picked up on it in a minute. Boycie
Why didn't Clough sign him earlier when he was back at Huddersfield injured? Booooooooooooooooooo! could have been play offs by now, sniff boo sniff!
Ambitious
A view to permanent which I thought would be the case, I think he'll do alright. Robinson and Hayes could turn out to be a decent partnership if we get them both signed, not household names but since we don't have ANY at the minute, I'm happy with that.
