Think now moving to 442 he could feature on the right and this would allow Addison and Green in middle and Sav to move on bench.

The other option is if Hayes comes it could be him and Ward up front with the Daives on the wings with Addison and Green and if we are all honest the best midfield pairing is these two for the past 3 seasons. Moving S Davies to wing will allow him to build up his match fitness without the pressure of scoring goals.

Martin is young and could be one for next couple of seasons

I think that eventually the formation will turn back into 4-2-3-1, but only when the confidence and results improve. As we all saw back in October/November, we were destroying teams left, right and centre so to go back to 4-4-2 completely would be a waste of preseason and 6 months of hard work. However I have a feeling that we will only use 4-2-3-1 in home matches when the team are expected to attack and be on the front foot instead of sitting back in away matches and looking for the counter attack.

It was, Metgods connection was Del Bosque. He spoke to him after the World Cup match, Del Bosque is also the one who reccomended Bueno for us.

nah it was the dutch connection for the formation as Metgod was on Holland's backroom staff. Spain so play the same formation, so I'm sure there success with it would also have been a reason

Will he be back available for the Hull game? Noticed he isn't in the Notts team for today and did a bit of research and his loan ends tomorrow. Any chance you think he'll be in the squad for Hull

David Martin is back at Derby after spending a month on loan at League One outfit Notts County.

The 25-year-old made three appearances for Paul Ince's side during his spell at Meadow Lane.

His time with the Magpies has been cut short after sustaining an abductor strain.

Martin has returned to Derby to be checked out by their medical staff and is expected to be out for the 'next couple of weeks'.

The door has, however, been left open for him to rejoin County once he shakes off the knock
