Kevin Hector
IMO, the quality of a team is defined by how many match winners you have. Players who can produce that bit of magic to stop, create or score a goal. Where are ours? Commons and Hulse over the past 2 seasons were definately match winners. Bywater was but seemingly not anymore, ditto Bueno. Barker can clear his lines when facing the ball but very suspect from a cross and for pace. Addison, gone down hill as his weight has gone up. Green, a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago. Without match winners we will struggle against even lowly opposition. So who are they? CumbrianRam
Cywka and Bueno can be influental when confident and play with a comptent midfield and strike force. In our current state, no-one really. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/5603-who-are-our-match-winners/#findComment-135965 Share on other sites

Kevin Hector
On other threads, I keep hearing people say we've just had some difficult games, we're moving forward, we're going to get 6 points from our next 3 games etc!! But who on the pitch is going to make that difference and how are we going to achieve this turn around in fortunes? But who on the pitch is going to make that difference and how are we going to achieve this turn around in fortunes? I've read people saying the next 6-8 games will define our season, they've been saying that ALL season. As for match winners our last one said bye-bye in January. At the moment I can't even see where our next goal scorer is, let alone match winner. Maybe Ben Davies can strike one of these tremendous free kicks we've heard so much about... Derbiean
Potentially Steve and Ben Davies, Bueno and Porter. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/5603-who-are-our-match-winners/#findComment-135972 Share on other sites
dcfcdavecov
I'd say a fully fit S.Davies, look at Portsmouth if it wasn't for that pesky pole. Bueno is a definate, and hopefully B.Davies will come good wioth free-kicks, corners etc. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/5603-who-are-our-match-winners/#findComment-135973 Share on other sites
Ramshankered
At the moment there are no definitive match winners I would pick out from the current crop of players, although having said that the likes of Bueno, Green & Cywka should perhaps be influencing play more than they have been. The pressure is really on now to pick up points against Ssausagehorpe. Hopefully Nigel won't take any unnecessary gambles with the starting 11 and instead picks his strongest possible line up. city slicker
Sorry to say guys, you guys aint got match winners, if they dont get some in this loan window in my opinion you will be in big trouble ,your last 6 games are hard to say the least 4 to 6 points max with your current bunch...
