Do we have enough to survive?

I'm struggling to see where wins are going to come from here, the team spirit looks about as shot as it did in the prem season and we all know how that ended.

We'll find out at Sheffield on the 26th - a real relegation six pointer

At present I'd say we'll go down unless something major changes. Even a new manager would struggle if he can't pay loan fees

I didn't think we had a chance to go down but now I'm really getting worried. The players have no confidence what so ever. I still can't believe that pringle got picked ahead of burno and Cywka, we needs wins so lets try and defend beggers belief when we haven't kept a clean sheet in how long

I dont even think we were much better 2nd half, Leicester just sat back and let us have the ball and we still didnt even look like scoring.

Smacks of Watford really, job done on Leicester's part, go out and just make sure the 3 points come home would have been Sven's message at HT.

Coventry (H) Bristol City (H) Barnsley (H) Donny (H) Ssausagehorpe (A) Sheff Utd (A) Palace (A) and Boro (A) will define our season..

If we struggle in these games ie. 7 points or less we're going down.. As there isn't a cat in hells chance we'll get points from the likes of Norwich (A) QPR (A) Reading (A) Cardiff (A) Hull (H) Swansea (H) Leeds (H)

The worrying thing is our current form is the form we've had the majority of the season with an uncharacteristic 9 games or so run accumulating most of our points. I don't see us going on another one so I think we're in it knee-deep. I'm just thankful we have a slightly better tally at this stage thusfar than in previous seasons because if we didn't the writing would be on the wall unquestionably.

It's a big if but if we make the most of what players we have and play formations that suit the team then we should be able to grab a few more results to just keep us up, though at the moment I don't see us finishing any higher then we are.

We've got a somewhat favourable run of fixtures coming up. If we can get a decent striker in on loan, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that we could go on another fantastic run. We know the quality can be there, and all it could take could be a stellar signing to spark it off again.

That's about as optimistic as I can manage right now.

That certianly is optimistic..

Have you seen our last 6 games of the season? If we're just hovering (ie. a few points) above the relegation zone with those 6 games remaining I think it will be the start on nail-biting season.. (That's if it hasn't already begun!)

The next 5 games are Scunny, Hull, Sheff U, Donny and Barnsley. If we don't get 10 points from these I think we've had it. By the time we get to Bristol on the second last game I think morale will be so low we will be welcoming relegation and trying to put a brave face on it. We could be in the widerness for a long time

Yes, but more importantly, our accounts will be in order. Yay.

Actually wouldn't we still be on a mid-lower championship table team spending budget? Might have to trim down some more for League 1, wonder how much Rammie would go for.

But a wage bill of $8mill for the year is far too high for league 1..

The next batch of players to be sold will be Brayford, Cywka, S.Davies Green, Barker and Bailey..

Our team then will consist of Ilkeston Town players plus NCs favourite players S.Pearson, B.Davies, G.Roberts and S.Bywater.
