Youth players?

"Former Wales international Paul Evans, a member of the first-team medical staff, once again featured at full-back, with goalkeeping coach Martin Taylor on the bench"

Why are we doing this when i'm sure there must be some youth players we could blood?

Entirely pointless.

Is this the reserves or a insight to the Lesta game?

I would love to laugh at the Festa game reference but, sadly, the way the club is going i'm not sure i can.

It's like they realised there was a reserve game and sent round a memo asking if anyone fancied it!!

We lack a back up right back. Evans is obviously still fit enough to play reserve team level. He played in a couple of other reserve games of late. Luke Garton was given another chance to stake a claim for the position in the summer and wasen't considered good enough. Chris Jones was playing there ,but he`s now been converted to being a midfielder. Buxton has apparently played across the back four. He obviously wasen 't fit or risked. Brayford needs some back up, but for a run out in the reserves, no harm in adding some experience. Consider that Ball was given a run out at centre back,(no O'brien in the line up yesterday) alongside Leacock, and also Aaron Cole was put in to play left back (he is a forward usualy as well.
