Cywka Speaks

Just seen on the DET site that Tommy Cywka has said he doesn't have a problem with what the manager said. Furthermore he hasn't taken it to the PFA, which is not the impression Gordon Taylor gave on RD this evening.

Whatever the reason I think it is big of Tommy to come out and try to calm it all down a bit. I can't believe RD is still on about it all as a main item - I know not much happens round here but still ...

Well done Cwyka. This has been blown out of all proportion, mainly by the anti Clough posse. No one knows what goes on behind the scenes, so no one is in a good position to judge. I agree it didn't sound great, but this reaction suggests it's not considered a big deal.

Hopefully this is subject closed.

i agree.

As if the phone in wasnt enough.

Radio derby still going on about it this morning and asking for an interview with Gordon taylor was totally OTT.

And as for getting in employees of big multi nationals who have taken bullying to tribunals... and then comparing this to the situation at DCFC. To me that is radio derby digging itself a hole.

I think clough has every right to do a fergie and refuse to speak to the bbc again.

FFS all he did was name and shame a player whose individual mistake has cost the team points.

I dont see whats wrong with that... as long as the team works hard and had itd hard work undone by individual mistakes then i think clough is right to have a go!

Clearly didn't check the thread thats spoken about this and has about 20,000 views already then :D;)

Couldn't see any reference to the article in the DET about Cywka's statement so posted this. Please accept my profound and heartfelt apologies if I have offended your extreme sensibilities and caused people insufferable pain and upset but thought it of interest and worth the risk of posting the thread

I'll be irritated all night now, I have been deeply disturbed by this callous posting of a thread. Pffft. Bloody amateurs.

I still can't agree with what Clough said despite Cwyka coming out and saying he isn't bothered by the statements, I would class him as a soft touch. I don't think I nor other people would allowed to be be-rated in that manner in public, also someone on here (forget who) said what would cloughs reaction be if Glick came out and said 'he can go back to burton or wherever he comes from, I don't care' would he be as professional and calm over the matter as Cywka. I am pro clough and unless we're relegated then I wouldn't want him out of pride park, I still think he has something to offer the club but there is a difference between constructive criticism and criticism.

1) he should of kept possession of the ball and looked to play the ball back into midfield, as we were looking to defend the lead we already had, he is a young lad with a lot of potential and he will learn the game.

2) he should go back to wigan or whereever he come from, I don't care.

there is a big difference between them two comments, I personally would of gone with the first one, or something along them lines.

Nice to see Cywka wasn't droped from the first team. Looks like he might get a run out on sat.

But am i the only who thinks that Bueno no longer fits into Nigel's plans (due to change of formation) and will hardly be playing this season?

I know Bueno is **** away from home and doesn't fit in 4-4-2 formation but i'm not sure we will play 4-2-3-1 again this season.

He is in squad for todays reserve team game.

Reserve squad to play Walsall: Deeney, Leacock, Porter, Pringle, Bueno, Hendrick, Croft, Evans, Boulding, Cole, Galinski, Ball, Witham, McElroy.
