Plan B
Why even bother now. Glick said he is to blame, just want them gone :frown: just need someone stupid enough to buy Derby.
Duracell
What he said at the end there is very small, but it has the potential to be so so big. Bookmarking this one for future reference, we may need it.

Stimacked
Clough confirming what we already know, that we are now officially in a relegation battle. He said we need to find 6 wins from the last 18 games. Massive comment from Clough there at the end. He was sympathetic with the fans for the protest almost as well. In no way did he dismiss it. The key thing he has said all season relating to the current board without question was his last comment. It was directed at the owners and its clear he is utterly frustrated by the lack of funding he has been given in the last 2 years. "There has to be investment at some point in the future for us to move forward." Clough

Clough In the interests of balance what he preceeded that with was that the owners had put a lot of money into the club, it hadn't worked out and they'd needed to balance the books but that ....."There has to be investment at some point in the future for us to move forward." Clough He was stating the bl***ing obvious really.

In the circumstances that is a brave and important thing to say. Would imagine he will get in trouble for it and he is already under pressure. Fans should appreciate the fact he has taken a risk to say something important
The Ram
I thought Clough was very good in that interview and for the first time he came across as showing some urgency and passion. I hope now some of the urgency will rub off on the players and we can get back to winning ways. Confidence is low, and The Yanks are not investing, so in the meantime I'd like to see more passion from everyone at the Club, and less moaning during games. Get behind The Rams on the pitch. Would imagine he will get in trouble for it and he is already under pressure. Fans should appreciate the fact he has taken a risk to say something important Its about time really. I suspect Nigel is only saying what has been on his mind for a while. He is clearly a man of integrity and he needs to put the ball in the boards court now before his own reputation is wrecked by the mess the club is in. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked in the summer - what a thankless bloody task managing this club has become!
ramification
Clough want us (the fans) to get behind him and the players. I would like him to get behind the players and stop slagging them off to the press. In todays climate you can't talk about your own team that way. Even if its true, slate them behind closed doors but a united front when addressing the press makes everyone feel that they are fighting together. davenportram
Cloughie has lost patience with Cywka. SAid hes not a very bright player. Sometimes makes bad decisions. Like not hoofing it up field at the end instead of trying to beat a man and getting tackled. Also criticsed him for giving a pointless free kick when he was miles off side and stopped the ball instead of letting it go for a free kick. Sounded pised off because they keep having to tell him about them. Said he can go back to Wigan or whereever until he learns the game. He also mentioned they were trying to get 2 strikers in on loan. Sticking with 4-4-2 but not necessarily with the same personel. Wants a quick striker to play alongside Davies. Looking at some youngsters and a couple of older heads. NC can go back to Burton or where ever he is from. We have a small squad, so it is not the best tatic to keep berating them!
GboroRam
Its a fair comment. You could swap Cywka for Clough in that discussion and a lot of it still rings true.
