EdinburghRam
if the current board leave then what then? If we get new owners in that are prepared to spend a bit more money than the current board what will they do with the money that the current board won't. the window is shut now so permanent transfers can't be brought in until the summer. so the new board would be restricted to loans, but anti gse people would lead us to believe that there the devil. so my question really is what is the advantage of trying to get the board out before the end of the season and risking effecting the teams performance? MrsRam
This is on the basis that there will be a 'new board' We've got to find someone to buy us first..... I think we ought to embarass them into investing...... **** or get off the pot sort of thing. p.shilton
I can see where you are coming from but it isn't as if the performances have been dazzling! I say if we are wanting new owners to come in this would be the perfect time. Give them time to settle, let them sit down with Nigel (yes I still think he is the right man for the job) and decide what the strategy is. Offer good wages for some quality loanees to see us through the short term and be ready to go after targets with proper money in the summer. Is Gadsby still interested? Only problem is I bet GSE would want a fortune for us now as this was their plan all along Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/5345-advantages-of-protesting/#findComment-128549 Share on other sites

Can't you make loans with a view to permanent signing, like the David Jones loan/transfer a few years ago? The squad's that threadbare now that loan signings can only improve it surely.
