Change of stance re GSE

Now I expect to get shot down with this and my tongue will turn black. Please stick with this as not only have the twigs down the A52 done the double over us but they have now the bragging rights of "Told you so" thanks to a money grabbing fast food restaurant in KFC.

In relation to the title I to with others have slowly become disenchanted in the board and their lack of apparent ambitions - similar I think has Clough who now no longer fields questions over funds but directs them to CEO as he is fed up of the stick and no support.

Over the seasons we have seen players go on the last day of the transfer window with no time to buy. This time they did not let this happen and we have now an opportunity to bring poss one or two players in. The board have said the funds generated from this transaction will be used to strengthen the squad. People think it is just the £300,000 that will be used. Lets not forget the budget for Commons was £15,000 for a 2 1/2 yr deal this means in wages just short of £2million. This should be available to buy two players at around £1.5million total with wages around the £3k-£5k mark.

The BIGGEST change is when we see a player leave, especially one the fans like, the clubs statements normally state this decision was on football terms NEVER we tried everything to keep him. Both Clough and Glick have publicly stated WE OFFERED EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED at the meeting 2 weeks ago. Prior to this contract Commons came out and asked the board to offer a contract which he could not refuse. Now offering a contract on the terms stipulated by him would suggest he could not refuse it. No not Commons he does as he always does go to a club says this is what I have been offered can you beat it? yes you can fantastic I will be there in a couple off hours to sign the forms.

It is time for fans not to use this as a stick to poke GSE as they did do at the end of the day what they said they would, and do what they could to keep him. They offered him his contract he wanted. Before you say it is typical Glick Slick spin the world we are in once you put it in writing and it is a lie you will get sued and these yanks are tight and do you think they will want to part with $'s in a liable case.

By all means poke them for not investing in the team as this is poor at the moment. For me Commons will not be missed, he has proven forest fans right which no Derby player should do, he has no committment or passion for the Derby shirt, club or most importantly FANS. He has taken our money when injured and ran like he has done at Stoke and Forest. These contract talks started at end of October by end of November he showed nothing for Derby. This I think was because he believed he had asked for a contract which he did not believe Derby would meet. The reason for this is because when he left he could say I really wanted to stop at Derby but they did not want me to stop as much and allowed me to go like he did at Stoke and Forest. He realised he had placed himself into a corner as he wanted to leave to go somewhere else for more money and now he could not hide and therefore has had to force the hand to sell him. Yes he was good for three months this year but for me he will be remembered for the lack lustered effort since November including the missed penalty at Crawley and two effortless efforts against the enemy. Good bye rolley polley and lets hope you get a good Scottish welcome and Celtic get ready to pay for his sickness bills when his little hamstrings go after another KFC bucket.

Just read the post, but the thing that grabbed my attention is the rant about Commons at the end.

Can I just say if he did actually sign a contract extension with us then you wouldn't be saying that, no one would be except the Forest fans who will always despise him.

He's served us well, people seem to forget the great partnership he had with Hulse, possibly the best since Pesch/Rasiak maybe?

I wish him luck, there are many incentives for him at Celtic other than the money, European football for starters, afterall he won't get that with us.

Three things.

First, why all these long posts guys? Christ I'm getting a headache.

Second I respect that you can see gse's efforts and appreciate that the club did what it could, most of the Marduk arsed ******** on here couldn't agree with flick if he told them he was a spin artist, you all know who you are.

Thirdly I think it would be wrong to turn KC into the bad Guy here. I honestly believe that at the time of sayying he was actually committed to earning a contract herw but I think when the Scottish interest came a out it made him rethink and the pros, I.e. champions league, out weighed the pros of staying here, I.e. a much better standard league.

He was NEVER going to sign new contract. Wath Ram Player interview with Clough. Think the comment never signed a contract extension in 10yrs. We want players who are honest and say they love the club and the fans and mean it. Really do need to watch both of the interviews, both have digs at his attitude. They blatantly say they did not keep him for the rest of the season as they could not afford a player who is going to ensure he would not get injured for the next club he was going to sign for. Open your eyes if no one came in this window, he would have remained and asked for a bigger contract so he could use this in the summer as a bargaining chip. I said in October when it first came out in the news he would not sign. If he loved the club as much as he said he would have signed like Barker. The move with Barker contract was to put pressure on Commons as Barker does love the club and he was not offered anywhere as much as commons was.
