Bywater's Distribution

Normally the worst part of his game by a country mile.

Against Forest a miraculous turnaround, yes his kicks were still being sliced towards the right hand side slightly... but his distribution from long downfield throws looked promising and more importantly even arguebly dangerous,

Thoughts?

I was watching Schmichael in the Leeds v Arsenal cup tie and his strength of character urging his team mates on was just like watching his dad all over again. His distribution and kicking were, in that game anyway, far superior to Bywater.

To be fair, I thought Bywater had a fair game but his command of his area causes me concern, there seems to be a lack of communication with the centre backs.

What was pleasing to see was that he did throw down the middle to Sav and Addison, later to Bailey, so this was an improvement on his sliced boot down field.

I thought Porter had little support from the ref and did his best with a pair of arms cuddled around him most of the afternoon.

Bywater puts the team in trouble with silly distribution throws to defenders which place them under pressure when we play against teams who close us down quickly. If he cuts this out, as he did on Saturday, then his game will improve considerably, as will my nerves:)

I thought his throws were good but I noticed more second half, maybe cause I was in north stand, and he was extremely alert and wanted to start attacks. Our main problem was that the outfield players were jogging away and when bywater was looking to throw out no one was looking over there shoulder and giving him options. If we sort this out we could benefit alot.

My Mrs is in but watching Corro, gives an excuse to talk footy on the forum anyway:)

I would have shared the same fate if my other half was home, Mondays are the worst it's like 2hours of soaps!!

Chelsea are winning 2-0 by the way, Drogba scored a corker!!

I agree Kasper Schemichael's kicking is very good.

It's pretty strange that a footballer cannot kick a ball in a straight line, you would of thought it was something you would pick up early on in your career.

I'd tell him to take a ball home with him in the summer and boot it down his garden, run and fetch it then boot it back again. Would get the hang of it in no time you would hope.

Someone should send Bywater this to revise.

You don't think his neighbours had enough cause for complaint lately, imagine the amount of broken windows ;)
