Alex W
Or, it could be that someone hasn't been sucked in by Rupert Murdoch, Richard Keys and all the other hairy armed Beckham lovers and I can actually see him for what he is... Nope. Playground crush. Ambitious was correct.

David
To be fair Crouch does his job well, I mean how hard is it to sit on Spurs bench week in week out, I think even I could do that on half the wages he gets.

Leeds Ram
crouch is seriously underrated as a player and people who say beckham was average I am sorry but he wasn't just average, had a brilliant passing range, free kick ability and crossing ability, was a brilliant player in his peak

Believe me Crouch isnt underrated as anything in my house, he is useless, a joke of a footballer, not a patch on Ian Ormendroyd. As for Beckham...average, average, average. Cant head, cant take penalties, cant dribble, cant tackle, media whore...
Leeds Ram
crouch has one of the ebst england goalscoring records in recent years muspech, and not many teams can ahndle crouch when he is on his day. Beckham, can take penalties, can take freekicks, can pass a ball on a sixpence and can cross, can do all of these tremendously well, well he could in his peak which is what I was referring too, also the amoutn of charity work he does is admirable muspech and personally he sets a good example too a lot of people

Forgot to mention Beckhams petulant nature that got us knocked out of one world cup, and his inability to put his foot in which got us knocked out of another World Cup...oh...and his penalty miss that got us knocked out of the Euro's.. but like you say, what a great example....I certainly want my kids to grow up with the same values on life as he does, particularly about loyalty, commitment, honesty, family values, loyalty,marriage......hmmm...maybe not. Leeds Ram
he scored against france and scoring is scoring muspech, also how many england players scored penalties? what about the freekicks which he scored in order to get us to world cup and the euros, was a very good captain and set a good example

AND..??? They are a GREAT team aren't they? really ripped the World Cup up didn't they..? As for Beckham, everyone misses penalties...but as a captain, who is the greatest dead ball specialist the world has ever seen, you would have thought he would have "set a good example" by actually scroing his....and as for his personal life, maybe the "good example" he set has rubbed off on the legends that are Good ol JT, Cashley Hole, Fat Frank, Stevie G and 2 metre Peter...as they too are ALL shininig examples for all the kids in England to admire.. Leeds Ram
to em beckham sets a good example to people you may disagree, but he helps out with charities, always seems happy to do things and always tries his best on the field. He is the type of player that would play for nothing. France ripped us apart and actually it was a completely different team to the world cup muspech

Take, for instance, his wedding day, the most sacred of all days between two people deeply in love, devoting themselves to each other for a lifetime of happiness, commitment, faithfulness etc etc, sharing their special day with their closest friends and family..or not..."quick get on the phone Victoria, see who want to pay us the most amount of money Hello or OK..." Ambitious
Rooney has played against the same teams as Crouch has for england, and Crouch has a damn sight better goal record. still can't get over how you can brand Beckham as average, well McLaren dropped him.. how did that work out again? for some reason the summer of 2008 remains anonymous, wasn't their a birthday party/football tournament england wasn't invited too? Leeds Ram
beckham is one of those who won't be remebered as average simple as. Crouch has a very good goalscoring record for england something like 27 in 42 and tbh is a very giood player, beckham captained the england side for many a year amd a;ways tried, he has over 100 caps whioch an 'average' player couldn't achieve for england. He has talents on the football field very few in the history oft he gfame ahve had
