Anyone who breathes a sign of relief if Plymouth look awful and get hammered today really is being a little short sighted.

Both Oxford and Pompey have young progressive coaches who like their teams to play football the right way and both picked up points against far better opposition than we played on Friday. I think we’re in for a very long season as it stands. BaianoPOTY98, jimtastic56, RoyMac5 and 1 other 2

Rambalin
We do not know who are going to be the best teams in the league yet. Yes we can all guess based on last season plus the relegated teams but it always throws up some surprises. Some teams start well then faded and others get stronger from a slow start so read nothing much into the first weeks results. Eoghan1884
First game of the season always throws out weird results, we lost at home to Wigan last year and Barnsley won 7-0 against port vale. No it didn’t mean we came last and Barnsley won the league. Also Blackburn brought on 3 players who all scored and would more than likely all start if the game was a bit further into the season. Weimann and Ohashi didn’t start as they’re new to the group and Szmodics one of the best players outside the prem in England because of premier league transfer speculation. Can only properly judge how the league will look after about 8-10 games and then see who’ll be fighting for what. scout's dad, Tamworthram and DCFC1388 1

Wazza has given debuts to 5 new players . As long as he hasn’t shown Whittaker how to perform those overhead kicks. He said at the weekend that the Argyle fans are incredible . They will take heart from our result . 3-0 Wednesday 🤞
jimtastic56
HT / 1-0 Wednesday . Another goal and we move up a place to 19th . Bannon looks like an old garden gnome, but still pulling the strings . Rammy03 and EtoileSportiveDeDerby

Yeah we were horrendous defensively but we actually attacked and scored 2 goals. Plymouth have been none existent as an attacking force and wouldn't be surprised if they shipped a couple more here. jimtastic56

SKRam
A mediocre looking Sheff Wed are beating an awful Plymouth 3-0. They look shocking. I feel for those Plymouth fans. 4hr 47 journey each way currently.
TomG
I was just about to post that I thought that at 2-0 the scoreline somewhat flatters Plymouth, when Josh Windass slots a third. Wednesday should have had about 5 or 6 though. Rammy03
