Ambitious
I know we need options but I don’t like this one at all: 30 years old, has never really been prolific anywhere in his career and coming in on a three year deals? Happy to be proven wrong on this, but definitely not a player I’d even have considered in League One. 21CSchizoidRam, dcfcreece1601, Papahet and 1 other 1

Guest
Really doesn’t make sense this, terrible ! An ageing striker who is league one level at best and can’t score to save his life… on a 3 year deal. 2 minutes ago, Heisenberg said:
dcfcjj
I presume he would be played on the right wing. Played there for Ipswich a fair bit and apparently is best there. If him and Yates were our striker signings for this year I’d just relegate us now 21CSchizoidRam

Nuwtfly
3 goals last season. 30 years old. Seems a very long contract for a player who has never been prolific at this level. Maybe I’m missing something. Is his game more about creating goals for the person he plays up top with? Doesn’t look like a good idea on paper but he played 29 times for an Ipswich side that got promoted to be fair to him! Maybe someone who has watched a lot of Ipswich can shed some light.

dcfcgodd
Interesting that some wouldn’t take him. He made 29 appearances for the team that finished 2nd in the league last season. Granted a lot was off the bench but with the amount of players we need a bigger squad is needed. Carnero, Caerphilly Ram and Wsm-ram
CBX1985
Are we sure this is genuine? I have had a look on Sky Sports News and there is no mention of this. The account listed just has a ram on it, but no name. 21CSchizoidRam

I'm really surprised about this one, the signing is one thing but the length of the deal is another. He’s quick, can stretch defences but I just don’t see what possible metrics we used to fall upon giving him a three year deal. Hats off to the agent!
