Notts Forest Playtime

I'm hearing rumours Notts Forest have suspeded and are looking to sack Shelvey following some sort of incident in Notts city centre. It sounds like the sort of more Mel would try and fail at. Anyone heard anything?

I've had a nosey on their site and they are both deluded and obsessed by us. We may have to wait but they are going to crash and burn at some point and there delusions will come back to bite them hard.

Had to smile at this headline in the Daily Mail

"Nottingham Forest target Leeds' Tyler Adams as Steve Cooper looks to streamline his squad"
Streamlining the squad by buying more players. That's a new angle.

Maybe they have a buy before you can sell policy. Can’t let that squad size slip below 40.

Just put the small ones at the front and fit a spoiler.

Fixtures getting released this week boys.

Who from the third tier will you be looking forward to most?

Getting one back over the mighty Cambridge?

Reigniting your feisty rivalry with Burton Albion?

Perhaps the glamour tie that is Carlisle FC?

Rather Carlisle than Luton.

You’re obviously obsessed with Derby but at least try to make some sense. Why would we need to “get one back over the mighty Cambridge”? We beat them both times last season and haven’t lost to them since 1989. But hey, if you find talking about Derby’s fixtures more interesting than Notts Forest’s then carry on.

Hold on a minute. Didsy left you?

In the context of signing old washed up Forest players, I wonder what Dele Adebola is upto these days? Could still do a job..

DCFC: living rent free in your head, since forever.

Apologies, I think I mixed them up with the mighty Morecambe!

I don’t always follow results in the third tier.. it can happen

I don’t know why you have had plenty of practice in the past

Something tells me you lot might gert a few more years in than we did.

If you don't go up straight away, strap in for the long haul.

I'll be honest League One was horrific. The first year of 'oh we're visiting new grounds, HMS Piss the League' soon goes out the window in the subsequent years.

It’s OK ,we just decided to stay for another year till the EFL are off our backs 😉.

Got bored of visiting the same old championship grounds to be fair, so one more year down here is not a disaster, just the one mind.
