Is it right that we as supporters of this great club and Clough dynasty, actually support this film?

Discuss.

I Support Clough Full Stop....

Personally, i'd be a fool to judge the book and film without even seeing it.

So for that reason i read it and will be watching it....i love it for the story of Derby County and not for how it portrays Clough.

For that, i'll read his autobios and bios others have written about him, who knew him best.

The Clough in the book, is not the Clough that his family and friends knew.

I know that, because Don Shaw told me and also his auto/bios suggest otherwise.

I feel the film will have a different take to the book anyway. Some might even change their minds, if not on the book.

Plus....i might be in it....

Got to watch out for that...

If Clough is unhappy up in heaven about this film, how do you live with that young man?

As Don Shaw said on the fron cover of his book....

"Nothing Stirred him more than a fight"

Clough is the Teflon Don, nothing sticks, he will come out of this as a LEGEND.....bring on ITV....bring on Clough's War...bring on the Statue.

Can you sleep at night though, knowing the film that you took part in is not wanted by the cloughs?

Have I planted a seed yet? or have I have to plod on?

Say what you like....

They don't like the book, so obviously for that reason they won't/can't like the film, but as is said in the article below, they could change their mind as the Film is a totally different 'animal' as Sheen puts it.

I went to the filming to support my hero/my team DCFC...i never lived the glory days, but that day they magically appeared...very briefly lol

And anyway....i'll be in the new book CW...watch out for a name check...
