Ipswich are League One and not doing too well with him in charge - 7 points outside a play-off position and almost half the season gone. Guest
Yes please. Should have been here after Lampard left. Don't think Ipswich was right for him.

He has just come off spending poo loads of money and underperforming at Ipswich.
Boycie
It’s the Derby non contract rejects that did for him. Anon

Given our scouting and purchases in recent years any player we're interested in can be written off as overrated and overpriced. Boycie
SecretDave
If we end up needing a new manager any time soon, Paul Cook would be near the top of the list for me. Yes, he's had a bad spell at Ipswich, but he's done really well at his previous clubs and could be the man to rebuild Derby. I'm sure he'd have learnt from his mistakes at Ipswich. Other managers that have done well for Derby had been sacked at other clubs beforehand (Jim Smith, George Burley and Steve McClaren all come to mind). So, him being sacked wouldn't worry me too much. Anag Ram
We could probably just pay him some compensation and leave out the middle bit. archram
