Anag Ram
It is a shame because if there's one thing we need it's a natural goalscorer. At a certain youth level he seemed to have that ability but as with many young players he's not been able to make the step up into men's football. He's not quick enough, skilful enough or physically strong enough to get away from defenders.
Ravabeerbelly
I think we should be mindful here that we are all talking about what is essentially a kid…and a kid who’s entire career is probably in the balance right now. Yea Bobby may be partly responsible for that but his parents, his agents (multiple) and the clubs must carry some of the blame too. Carl Sagan
When Duncan arrived my concern was it might block Stretton's path to the first team, and I thought Stretton deserved his chance. But it was also an exciting prospect to have this star England youth striker arrive because we definitely need a goalscorer. What Stretton shows players like Duncan is that there is a path to the first team from the U23s, albeit hampered at the moment by the EFL and their rules about players of professional standing. But things like that can change quickly in football and Bobby needs to put himself in a position to take advantage of that if they do. I still hope we can unearth the player in him.
