Stoke at home

Derby blood

Thoroughly deserved victory. My fear before the game was that some if not all of the players would put in a 'no show' performance and just go through the motions. After all some of them are most likely going to be sold in a fire sale.

So glad to be proven wrong as they left everything out there. Everyone involved in that win yesterday is a credit to themselves and the club.Let's just ride on the feel good factor of that performance and see where it takes us. COYR.

Not sure if this has been posted already (or how to do it without lazy linking - sorry) but there are some quite nice words from Stoke’s manager at the end of the article.  Very magnanimous of him.

I’m not surprised they think they might have got a point though. Although they didn’t create that many clear cut chances they had quite a lot of possession (too much for my liking!). Nevertheless, a very pleasing and surprising performance given the troubles. Good , positive atmosphere too.

I wonder if it will be the same when we inevitably lose at home at some point? Hope so?

That was brilliant. Felt like a game that will be memorable for everyone that was able to witness it.

Can't really find the words to describe how it feels right now as I'm majorly hungover, have no voice left, bruises all down my legs, and a swollen hand from banging on the back of the stand.

Home games don't get much better.

Graeme Shinnie made the 72's Team of the Week (as did ex Rams Keogh and Weimann):

Football is about mixing the right ingredients to make the best team, even if that doesn't always mean the best individual players. I do think Shinnie's contribution is often overlooked (something I've been guilty of). Right now we need fighters and he's one of those.

Roos must have come close too?

Apparently the 72 uses a stats site called FotMob for its rankings. Looking, Shinnie is the first Derby player to make their team of the week this season. The rankings for Saturday's game (and a link to their site) are:

Roos managed 6.9 vs Bentley's 8.4 as a goalie. IIRC, Roos and Davies made the WhoScored team of the week last week.
