We’re massively missing Joz’s ability to be able to retain possession in the final third here.

Also, we should get Shinnie off. He isn’t contributing anything going forward and Birmingham’s direct style means he doesn’t need to cover the spaces defensively.

Why Shinnie? that can be said about more than just him.About time the captain stepped up to his role.

Please please stop playing the ball back to roos, he can't kick a ball to save his life. Yes the goal was down to buchannan but it wouldn't have happened if we tried playing the ball the other way. Roos has scuffed a few balls played back to him and a better said would have made more of it

Must be one of the easiest teams to play against for a couple of years now.

Soak them up, press their defence, and Derby will cave / give you a present. Rinse and repeat.

I think that this is where we see Rooney's inexperience and naivety as a gaffer.......bowyer saw how much we were messing about at the back and reacted to it by pushing their players up and applying pressure but we didn't adapt to counter that.

Refereeing is a joke and inexplicably Don Goodman has fully gone out to bat for this absolute clown

We are playing under different rules , I said it after Florist , Refs are instructed to be anti Derby by EFL . Shinnie gets booked yet ones on Ravel n Tom = nothing . This is persecution now fro EFL. We should sing duck the EFL for entire game especially ones on Sky

Doesn’t help having three midfielders who all want to play deep.

Morrison and Bird need to venture further forward and Sibley has offered nothing yet again. Constantly outmuscled.

If Knight is anywhere near fit he should come on, as should Stretton.

Shinnie and Sibley off.

Team of thugs, cowardly ref, goalie with jelly for feet, another duck up, we have nothing up top, what's the point of us having free kicks, Ryan Woods as big a nob as ever, shall we get their throw in specialist a hairdryer and waste five minutes for each one, the teams in this league are that bad our Mac 1 team would get 150 points.

Think that covers everything.

So it's a yellow card offence to grap a shirt, yet nothing for at least 4 challenges after the ball has gone!

And 2 players sandwiching Sibley and bringing him down without touching the ball is fine and just a convergence according to Don the gob.

Only our self to blame for the goal, but it will be hard to score when the ref is not punishing them for blatant fouls.

So feckin frustrating that we’ve gifted the opposition a goal AGAIN!!! They’d done feck all up to that point. Now their tails are up every time Roos has the ball and we’re panicking when pressed.  Just shows how much of the game is mental.

I don’t mind us playing out from the back but once we’ve broken the first press and the balls at on the edge of the centre circle there’s no options from Lawrence, Baldock & Sibley. They’ve got to come another 10 yards back and get closer to each other…

Playing some nice stuff at times... but it's getting to the point again now where I'm struggling to see where the goals are going to come from ? That, mixed with the stupid mistakes we don't seem to be able to get away from, have got me worried.

...and, once again, absolutely disgraceful officiating. How many times does Ravel need to get fouled before the ref realises he's being targeted?!

The shift in the approach to refereeing this season really isn't doing us any favours and this isn't the first time we've come across a team this season that is making full use of basically being able to get away with a string of fouls.

Why didn't their player get booked for the foul on Lawrence? That would have nothing to do with the 'shift' in interpretation. You could ask why didn't he play on when Sibley had the ball on the edge of the box?!

Because the midfield is supposed to control the game.

Don’t get me wrong, Lawrence has been rubbish as has Sibley.

But we’re playing against 442. We outnumber Birmingham in midfield three to two, but we haven’t dominated that area at all.

Morrison is supposed to be the attacking midfielder. But he’s playing deeper than Shinnie and Bird because those two have offered nothing on the ball.
