Good work!

”revised and restated accounts”. That does not appear in any EFL statement. Sky clearly have their sources at the EFL, while we were playing against Peterborough they asked whether the EFL would allow a replacement for Kazim and they got a response which they shared after the game. They’ve probably followed this up and got this directly from the EFL.

If that’s the case - then surely it’s over to the EFL now, Derby have done their bit.

The choice of words in that Sky banner is interesting...assuming it's accurate of course.

"Restated" implies we've just amended the amortisation numbers for straight line.

"Revised and...."  implies we may have made other amendments, perhaps around releasing some further profits from the previous stadium revaluation. If so, this might have been necessary to improve our ffp position and also would likely be the reason for the pre-submission dialogue with the EFL.

Who says accountancy cannot be interesting? Such freedom and potential for skulduggery.... ?

I thought at the time when CKR got injured, who are they speaking with at the EFL.

Wouldn't that have all been gone through in the orginal hearing (that we won?) - any question on that can be pointed back to the ruling with a note that the EFL did not appeal that part of the verdict.

No, because this wasnt actually known until the last hearing where Stephen Pearson was said to have said "oh by the way, we realise we may have found 30 million down the back of the sofa, which we had forgotten about and would have done if it wasnt for all this pratting about" words to that effect anyway.

The EFL are drawing this out to the point of tedium.

Its just plain and simple bullying of Derby County.

don't you think the club could have acted more quickly to present the info that was required, this seems to be going on a long time since the DC asked the club to restate, I would have thought the club would have anticipated this and have has a very good idea of how it looked weeks ago

Don't you think that getting an agreement about how we present the information would be important, particularly for the club going forward. That might take some time.

yes Roy, but there is a perception that these delays are all down to the beastly EFL, maybe on this occasion it is not the whole truth?

Never mentioned 'beastly' EFL, others might. It's clear from them allowing us to sign Baldock & Jags that they are being 'flexible'.

No I don’t think they are being flexible at all.

The players union would be on to them about that because of stopping players working !
