Jagielka would have the edge on Davies for me as his longevity and injury record at the end of his career has been better. I still think we have a very weak midfield but like you say Morrison is a massive risk that can't be mitigated after 1 performance. If we are not confident of Umbongo being lifted before end of the window I would keep a slot open for a prem loaner at centre forward (prob youngster like delap) which probably will only be sorted late on. Mate the EFL have won again . Its diabolical restricting us to 5 . The whole thing stinks. No sentiment in Football . Wayne has to decide and I’m sure he will be conflicted by this as am I. Also factors are what option gives best chance of player development. (EG.
