If this season is going to be different from last we need something to change. We need to play with verve and aggression and everyone wanting to get on the ball, drive forward, get into the box and try to score. Instead we turn back and pass sideways, at a pedestrian pace. This can't be anything other than Rooney ball. Then we give 15 minutes to so to Sibley and Ebosele. What chance do they have? They need minutes on the pitch, not the triallists who if they were any good would run a mile rather than sign for us. An Own Goal! Is this the only way we'll ever score? The positive was Sibley was the engine behind their own goal? He could be quite a handy player that lad.
