Does that mean that we may be able to sign two "free" out-of-contract players?

There's too many doubts and queries to know definitively.

Can't sign anyone if they unfairly include the Chorley game.

Possibly 4 in if the Chorley game is excluded, of which 2 would be Davies & Wisdom.

We're better of getting out of the hard embargo!

@Ken Tram, it's as Carnero says up until we clear the HMRC bill.

Then restrictions loosen, allowing us to definitely sign some players.

We won't be able to pay a fee for players (loan or permanent) until we also submit the accounts and P&S calculations for all relevant seasons.

Agreed! But, with the August deadline, would be good to get 2-4 out-of-contract players of they will boost the team.

The HMRC bill should be a lot easier than meeting EFL accounting requirements!!!

Feedback from my friend who spent yesterday at Pennyhill Park.

"I was too close to take photo's, but my brother-in-law recognised David Marshall.. The rest of them just looked like a bunch of skinny kids"

My response:

"Yep - that sums up our squad quite well at the moment"

How can you be too close to take photos? Too far away, maybe?

I am sure CKR, Wizzy and Curt would love being described as skinny kids!

I reckon he was just lounging around the pool and didn't really bother to check them out. Probably commented on Marshall as he was the tallest walking past on the way to the training pitches.
