That’s weaker than the team that just stayed up last season, Bielik unlikely to be match fit for a while. We need to add 4 or 5 players and then we might be competitive…. No pace whatsoever. Davies is a top professional but we all know that he doesn't have a full "half" season in his body, let alone remaining fit long enough for a visit to Stoke on a chilly Wednesday night after Christmas. In terms of either/or though, we could offer him a membership season ticket at Derbyshire CCC plus a packet of spangles? Starting Christmas Eve though, just to be on the safe side......
