Resentment rather than jealousy.

If you imagine Brentford as a person and not a football club, we all know that person don't we? I'm struggling to put it into words beyond that though.

An adenoidal, smug, tee-total, Prius driver with a perfect lawn and a boring as duck wife who constantly prattles on about how well his stock investments are shaping up, made worse only by the fact that he's right... Summat like that?

You never know, they might go up and then break our record for us

Not a chance - they are another Bournemouth and will do ok. Norwich and Watford on the other hand will be straight back down.

How many of this Brentford team played in the final game of the season...

How many were the teams most most influential midfielder being man marked by a bloke with two broken legs on his CV that season. A decision that cost us dearly against Hull.

I believe Swansea would remove another parachute club? Brentford promoted then relegated would add another, but Swansea's would e running out. So basically, I don't really care.

Someone said on the radio this morning that the season just gone was Swansea's final parachute payment season. Must be the same for Stoke.

Maybe a good indicator of how good having managerial stability can be, ok hes only been manager for 2 and a half years but that is a long time compared with us,  and he was at the club for a couple of years before too.

Maybe had we been able to maintain that too we would be in a healthier position.

It took Brentford six years, mind

It has but their trajectory has been on an upward curve for years. They are very well run, dumped the academy early doors and installed a focused recruitment policy that works.
