Nobody knows how it would have worked out Rooney said as much, they new the result from the Rotherham game, so new they just needed to manage the result and not concede. Had that result been different, or had Wednesday not had the points deduction, the last 5 mins would have a been a different story. We might not have scored to win the game, but we’ll never know.
