Yes, we need to either sell when we're playing well, or buy cheaper players.

BTW, can anyone else see anything on @Heisenberg's post? All I see is a blank space.

or if playing well (not seen this for some time) renegotiate the contract in the penultimate year

Yeah it's just a blank space for me too.

It was an embedded twitter link to Footy Insider if I remember correctly.

Has Waghorn’s kid not recently signed for the academy?

No idea how easy it is to get players in and out of academies but would assume that is an indication he is staying relatively local

Hope he stays, personally. We’d only have to replace him if he doesn’t

Or perhaps we could replace him with someone who might have a resale value?

He has just had a new house built too by the looks of things so you would think he would be staying pretty local, whether that is with us or not remains to be seen.

So for the hard of seeing, this is where Cardiff sent a cab to pick up Waggy for contract discussions but unfortunately as you can see from the photo, a blizzard across Derbyshire led to nigh on zero visibility meaning they couldn't find Pride Park, let alone Waggy himself.

Apparently an aggrieved Cardiff have demanded sanctions from the EFL as they feel Waggy should have been stood in the carpark wearing one of these and pointed out that 'we have previous'.

Been on a thread for a while but hit the press now.

Coventry City are understood to be in talks with Derby County striker Martyn Waghorn.

The 31-year-old former Leicester City striker is out of contract at Pride Park, where he has also held discussions about a new contract to extend his three-year spell with the club.
