It shows that he's interested in football, but perhaps more so in the area of North Carolina. He's from Pittsburgh, though, so who knows. I Heard that Mark Davis (co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders) is looking to invest in an English football club and there is a possible link to Rooney as Davis is good mates with David Beckham.
